A girl gets fined for chalk drawing on her own property.A specter is haunting childhood; the specter of illegality. When normal childhood behaviors are called illegal, they start acting out with abnormal ones--hyperactivity, depression, anxiety, wanning attention, and of course...delinquency. One has to wonder if these trends are related.
Even if there is no causation with this correlation, the actions being taken against childhood make no constructive sense. But then again, lacking common sense is not illegal.
Reminds me of when they banned dodge ball.
